FREMONT, CA: Telus International, a digital customer experience (CX) firm that designs, implements, and delivers next-generation solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI) and content moderation, plans to hire 1,500 people in Romania by the end of this year to support the expansion of its operations. The hiring process began in January 2022 and aimed at employees who were fluent in a variety of languages, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, English, Polish, Hebrew, and Dutch. Reports reveal that Telus plans to hire about 800 French speakers.

Customer contacts and technical support for various worldwide companies from high-growth areas such as fast-growing tech, games, travel and hospitality, and telecommunications will be handled by the new team members via phone, email, chat, and social media. Flexible working hours in rotating shifts, full-time or part-time, are available at the company. Despite the difficult circumstances created by the pandemic, the company has continued to grow. The quick deployment of a work-from-anywhere approach has proven to be a fantastic opportunity, allowing them to hire over 1,000 team members in Romania in 2021 and integrate them into the outstanding culture remotely.
